Chupacabra

The Chupacabra (pronunciation: /tʃupa'kabɾa/, from the Spanish words chupar, meaning "to suck", and cabra, meaning "goat"; literally "goat sucker")
The name comes from the animal's reported habit of attacking and drinking the blood of livestock, especially goats. Physical descriptions of the creature vary.
It is supposedly a heavy creature, the size of a small bear, with a row of spines reaching from the neck to the base of the tail.

"Did the artist totally cheap out and re-use the background from his Red Sonja pic?"
"Sure did - lazy good for nothing S.O.B"
- in my defence i did tweak it a bit -
Hope you like

Wild Thing first stage inks

So I decided i would post this pic in stages - working through the process I go through

So the last pic was the pencils (or more accurately, ballpoint pen - apologies also for the low quality as my scanner wasnt handy at the time and i took the pic with my phone)

This stage is the first inking - i usually do the rough inks to get the look i want, then the next stage will be finished inks (coming soon!)

Hope you enjoy

Meet the Draculas

A very rough first pass at my idea for Johnny's parents
awww - he got his mother's nose...but he got his dad's skin tone...ears...eyes...
will undoubtedly clean this up at a later stage

A page of Johnny Dracula

So i actually did about 10 pages of Johnny Dracula (you may remember him from a couple of pics I did - this is him in his 'day' clothes) i never took them past the rough pencils, but the more i look back at them the more i like them.
Anyways, this was one of my favourite pages from the lot.
Hope you enjoy

Treasure Hunt

Sorry for the lack of posting as of late - have been batting an idea around and a friend and I have come up with what we think is a decent teaser script - now i just have to get motivated and draw some sequentials! Here is a teaser of the main hero (on the left) - Professor Joseph Griffin, in his everyday, non-superhero garbThe treasure stealing commie on the right is one of the early villains...sort of...
